Lunch Break Dance Lesson

Lunch Break Dance Lesson

"Anti-aging isn’t always found in a syringe or a supplement. Sometimes it’s hidden inside the discomfort of learning a new dance move during your lunch break."

Learning new dance moves may be one of the most underrated Antiaging interventions of our time.

Why? Because the brain has to perform multiple complex tasks simultaneously: memory, rhythm, coordination, balance, emotional processing, reaction speed, social interaction and movement sequencing — all at once

Recent neuroscience research is now showing that dance may improve neuroplasticity, executive function and even cognitive reserve as we age.

Translation? Your brain loves novelty.

Today during lunch break, my favorite dance teacher Bina and I practiced trending Diljit Dosanjh + Madonna choreography — and somewhere between laughter, missed steps and rhythm, I was reminded that Antiaging medicine is not only about preserving the face… it is about preserving the flexibility of the human mind.

Beauty exits the body very quickly when joy exits the nervous system.

 Lots of love,
