Men Have a “Pause” Too

Men Have a “Pause” Too

Men go through hormonal shifts too — and honestly, not enough people are talking about it.

In this fragment from a powerful conversation between Dr. Rob Frankel and me on my podcast Bathroom Diaries: PEPTIDE PLAYBOOK – PART 3 — Hormones, Testosterone & the Future of Longevity Medicine, we explore how declining energy, metabolic slowdown, and unexpected weight gain in men are often early signals of underlying hormonal changes that deserve proper evaluation — not dismissal as “just aging.”

Before optimizing anything else, we need to ask:

  1. Are testosterone levels low?
  2. Is cellular energy compromised?
  3. Is metabolism becoming insulin resistant?

That’s why I often look at:

  1. Testosterone status
  2. NAD support for cellular energy
  3. GLP-1 therapies to help restore metabolic responsiveness

These are foundational steps when someone is feeling fatigued, sluggish, or not like themselves anymore.
